What We Do?

Himalayan Peace Foundation envisions a peaceful, democratic, and well-developed state order in which public and community concerns are managed efficiently and effectively in the best interests of the country's citizens.

The Himalayan Peace Foundation (HPF) is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting peace, sustainability, and harmony in Nepal. The organization focuses on several key areas such as environmental conservation, cultural preservation, and community development.

One of the main focus areas of HPF is sustainable water management in the communities. The organization works on various projects to conserve and protect water resources in the region. This includes promoting sustainable agricultural practices, protecting wetlands, and promoting community-based management of water resources. HPF also works to raise awareness about the importance of water conservation and the impacts of climate change on water resources.

We Stand for!

We study and research programs to assess necessities in order to accelerate the achievement of Community, particularly in grass-roots areas; and design appropriate intervention of human rights, civic education, government's participation, and sociology-economic-political development in rural communities as authorities require obligation.

How we work

Himalayan Peace Foundation, Nepal is a Local Community Organization (NGO) founded in 2016 with the mission of transforming individuals, and networks into active participants in their quest to bring about knowledge in service delivery through activities and the principles of Democracy, Good Governance, and Accountability.

The organization will create methods to increase the flow of information and knowledge to organizations in terms of technical and managerial abilities, so that they may engage as equal partners in decision-making and resource control in their particular communities.

We establish capacity-building programs to empower stakeholders in accordance with each member organization's evaluated requirements.

Himalayan Peace Foundation would empower the community to demand service delivery through acceptable media, educating the community and holding authorities responsible with all required support including Policy Advocacy.
